Official NKOTB Interview: Donnie!
Teen Beat: What will the New Kids be doing in the fall?
Donnie: We’re going to London, Japan, West Germany, Brazil, Australia, Canada, Holland and possibly Russia! Over the winter we’re supposed to be doing a movie!
Teen Beat: What’s it going to be about?
Donnie: It’s going to be a story. I don’t think we could make a movie about us yet. It’s going to be about us, but it’s going to be about real kids. About how the group came together.
Teen Beat: When can fans expect a third New Kids album?
Donnie: Our next album was supposed to come out in January, but it’s not going to because we’re probably going to do the movie between January and May, so the next album will probably be the movie’s soundtrack.
Teen Beat: The Hangin’ Tough video was released several months ago. What’s next?
Donnie: The Hangin’ Tough video is a home video with our four videos and documentary road footage in between. Our Christmas album and video are coming out at Christmas time.
Teen Beat: The new Kids on the Block present a clean-cut image for thousands of young fans everywhere. What kind of role models do you try to be?
Donnie: We just want to show kids that being individual is the best thing to be. Don’t give in to peer pressure and stuff like that. ‘Cause no matter what happens, it’s you against the world. We just want everyone to do things for themselves, learn things for themselves – and do what your heart tells you to do!
