When RCW began as FPPVW, it was started by Jon Z, who was a college student with absolutely no money. He had trained several wrestlers, and many of them were at the point where they no longer sucked. Thus Jon decided to hold events in mid-2003, for a company he called Future Pay-Per-View Wrestling. Eventually they grew so popular that FPPVW signed a contract for a series of monthly pay-per-views and changed their name to Renegade Championship Wrestling as a result. Firestorm was the second PPV broadcast.
Background
Firestorm was the second monthly pay-per-view for RCW. It took place at the 5/3 Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio, on August 28, 2004.
