Formation
In the latter half of 2011, Danny Dreggs was trying to find his way after The Absence of Light disbanded. On the September 14 episode of Go Time, he wrestled and lost a match to relative newcomer Adam Brooks. Impressed by him, Dreggs proposed that they team up, and Brooks obliged him. They didn't get off to a good start, dropping a match to Aaron Glover and Terrence Bolton on October 5. Undeterred, they challenged Glover and Bolton to a rematch at No Regrets. But The UK Wrecking Crew wanted in as well, having also recently lost to Glover and Bolton. A Triangle Match was signed, but at the event The Pyro Twins reformed and added themselves to the match. They would go on to win when Jay pinned Dreggs. Over the course of the next year, Brooks and Dreggs would continue to team part-time, usually on the losing end to their opponents.
Damage and Chaos
In early 2013, Brooks and Dreggs finally had enough of the losses, and took it out after another loss to The Dark City Fight Club. The two teams would go back and forth with one another until the March 6 episode of Go Time. After the Dark City Fight Club won their match, they were ambushed by Brooks and Dreggs, who laid waste to them with chairs. After the match, they declared that they were done being punching bags and were running damage control on their careers. They dubbed themselves Damage Control for controlling the chaos and dealing out the damage. They began attacking other teams and wrestlers, including Jack Evans and Torea, who they defeated in tag team action two weeks later. The Dark City Fight Club attacked after the match in retaliation for the beatdown they suffered, and challenged them to a match at Kickstart. Damage Control accepted, and the match was held under relaxed rules. Damage Control were victorious, and beat the DCFC a couple of weeks later in a No DQ Match on Blast Zone. They also competed in the tag team battle royale at The MECCA Challenge IX, but were not successful. After injuring Jon Davis and putting him out of MECCA, Damage Control got in the middle of Gran Akuma's feud with Alex Shelley. They teamed with Akuma to take on Shelley, Jack Evans, and Kory Chavis at New Dawn, but did not prevail.
Damage Control continued competing in the tag team ranks and were able to work their way up to a shot at the MECCA World Tag Team Championship. They faced the champions Aaron Glover and Terrence Bolton on the July 31 episode of Go Time, but were unsuccessful. They would go on to compete individually in a Six-Man Shootout for a shot at the MECCA Legacy Championship at Summertime Showdown, but the match was won by Brandon Blade. They continued to stay competitive in the tag team division, competing against the likes of The Young Bucks, The Brothers Lee and The Wild Wolf and Amazing Red. In mid-2014, they worked their way back into title contention, but were once again unable to win the titles, losing to champions The Pyro Twins at Punked Out.
In December, Damage Control teamed up with The Hammerhead Kid on Go Time to lose a six-man tag. Damage Control blamed their partner for the loss and beat him down afterward. Hammerhead spent the next couple of weeks trying to get revenge, but was overwhelmed by the numbers. But on December 17, Shark Boy made his MECCA debut by saving Hammerhead, and they decided to form a new team called Shark Attack. They would go on to defeat Damage Control at End of the Line just three days later. Shark Attack and Damage Control spent the next few months feuding, but ultimately Shark Attack prevailed. Communication between Dreggs and Brooks had started to break down as well, and the losses were starting to frustrate them. After losing to the new team Skywatch, Dreggs blamed Brooks for their failures and stated that if they lost the rematch against them, he was done with Damage Control. Skywatch prevailed once again at Punked Out, and Dreggs walked out after the match was over. He confronted Brooks as he came through the curtains, and after faking a handshake, cheapshotted his partner and put him through a table, bringing their team to an end.
