MECCA World Championship
The MECCA World Championship, previously known as the MECCA Championship and MECCA World Heavyweight Championship, is a professional wrestling world championship contested in MECCA. The title has been defended in many different countries, including the United States, Canada, Japan, the United Kingdom, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Germany. The first champion was crowned in the final match of a Round Robin Tournament on April 30, 2005.

When MECCA was formed in early 2005, co-owner Nykk thought to crown himself the first champion. He booked a match between himself and his rival from RCW, Ronin Fox, on the very first episode of Go Time. But his fellow co-owner Katie Piehl had other plans. She wasn't going to let Nykk book himself to be champion, so she decided the first title holder would be the winner of a Round Robin Challenge between the top five contenders. After a few weeks, several names stood out from the pack and she named Nykk, Fox, CM Punk, Bryan Danielson, and Low Ki as the five participants. It came down to Nykk against Punk, which took place at The MECCA Challenge on April 30. Punk would defeat Nykk to become the first MECCA Champion.
When Eddie Crowe made some international title defenses outside of MECCA in March 2007, the title officially became a World Championship. Anubis holds the record for the longest title reign at 630 days. The shortest title reign belongs to Terrence Bolton, whose first reign lasted five days. Eddie Crowe, Nykk, and Marcus Kavian hold the record for most title reigns, at three apiece.
