From the beginning, RCW heavily featured women's wrestling. Back when it started as FPPVW, it was announced that at their final event of 2003, Darkest Night on December 21, 2003, the first FPPVW Ladies' Champion would be crowned in the final match of an eight-woman title tournament. The two women who made it to the finals were WOW alumni Erica Porter and a relative unknown named Naomi Leach. Leach would go on to defeat Porter and become the first champion, becoming the face of the ladies' division for most of its existence.
Like the rest of the titles, it ceased to be defended in late January when the company went dark. When the roster and crew reunited for one last show, WrestlingRevolution II, Lisa Letty became the final champion after winning a three way match. Though Letty was the reigning MECCA Ladies' Champion at the time, this was not an official unification match, though the RCW Ladies' Title was retired on this night.
