Early career - The Eccentrics

Shortly after their lifelong friends Nykk and Ronin Fox began training under Jon Z, Huh and Cheesecake decided to get into the business as well and entered training. They debuted in early 2002 and worked various independents for the next couple of years.

Future Pay-Per-View Wrestling (2003-2005)

The Beginning

In July of 2003, Jon Z started his own promotion Future Pay-Per-View Wrestling. Huh and Cheesecake were amongst the first wrestlers hired, along with their friends Nykk, Fox, Jay Crowe, and Dusty Schneble. They debuted at the very first FPPVW show Premiere Showcase. They competed in a battle royale to open the show, which was won by Nykk. Later on, they wrestled their friends Jay and Dusty, The Pyro Twins in a tag team match, which Jay and Dusty won after illegal use of a chain. The rematch occurred two months later at Breakout, which the Eccentrics won after Huh pinned Dusty by accident, resulting in a Pyro Twins beatdown after the match. A Hardcore Match was signed for the second episode of Foundation on September 12, which the Pyro Twins won. The Eccentrics would come back with singles wins at Bloodbath, with Huh beating Dusty in a Table Match and Cheesecake beating Jay in a Hardcore Match. The feud continued at Homecoming Hell, with the Pyro Twins scoring a tag team victory.

Huh and Cheesecake would also have problems with newcomer Austin Lee when they hosted a haunted house on Halloween, featuring footage of Lee scratching his rear end in the middle of the ring. Lee took exception, and beat the crap out of both Eccentrics on the November 7 edition of Foundation. At this point they also realized they had t-shirts being sold, so they started a merchandise initiative. They also began a search for a manager which Huh thought would help them win the tag team titles, unaware that no such titles yet existed. They revealed their manager on December 13, a woman named Pinky who turned out to be a former manager at a local Kroger and who knew nothing about wrestling. Undeterred, they let her accompany them to the ring anyway. Despite their new guiding light, they lost a Steel Cage match to the Pyro Twins at Darkest Night in December 2003.

On January 23, Huh expressed his desire to Jon Z to create a new type of match, which Jon was to distracted to deny. This resulted in an Eccentrics Rules match on February 13 against Simon Diamond and Swinger. The match featured penalties for punching, a points system, a search for a mystery box, water pistols, and giant boxing gloves. The match finally ended when a disoriented Huh tagged one of his opponents, making them both legal. Diamond and Swinger attempted to outsmart their opponents by pinning one another, but due to the rules the Eccentrics won the match since one of their opponents lost the fall.

The FPPVW Tag Team Championship

On the January 23 edition of Foundation, the Pyro Twins would interject themselves into an issue between their old high school friends. They would help Nykk, leader of The Heel Stable and Joey Sprinklers beat down Kevin Stone, one of their former members. They officially joined the group, and became Nykk's enforcers. Then on the February 20 edition of Foundation, Nykk dropped the bombshell that he had taken it upon himself to crown the first FPPVW Tag Team Champions. He introduced the the Pyro Twins, who he claimed had won a tournament in Rio de Janeiro officiated by shady referee David Caldwell. He presented them with belts, and FPPVW owner Jon Z was livid. But it was legit, since Nykk had sneaked in the paperwork for the tournament while Jon was busy signing documents a few weeks before. Jon retaliated by announcing a double elimination tournament of his own for the Ohio Tag Team Championship. He announced that the winners of the titles would then face Jay and Dusty at WrestlingRevolution in two months to unify the two titles and crown the first official FPPVW Tag Team Champions. The Pyro Twins became concerned that the Eccentrics might win the tournament and face them once again at WrestlingRevolution, but quickly realized after dominating their feud that they would be easy opponents.

The Eccentrics dropped their first round in the upper brackets to Austin Lee and Cody Hawk, but due to double elimination rules they would have one more chance to advance in the tournament if they won the lower brackets. They managed to win a four-way match at Gauntlet between all four losing teams from the first round in order to advance. In the meantime, they competed in another Eccentrics Rules match, this time against the Villanos. In this match, a penalty resulted in a quiz show breaking out in the style of Double Dare, with the Eccentrics choosing a physical challenge involving Cheesecake spraying whipped cream into a cup Huh was holding. Before they could finish, the Pyro Twins attacked and laid out the Eccentrics and the Villanos. The next week, they also picked up a new member of their managerie, a mentally unstable man named Torgo. On April 2, they faced the losing teams in the second round of the Ohio Tag Team Tournament and won again, advancing to the finals of the lower brackets. Two weeks later, they faced Chris Stylez and Johnny Kashmere, who lost the finals of the upper brackets. The Eccentrics won the match and earned the right to face Hawk and Lee again at Countdown in the tournament finals. The Eccentrics won when Lee abandoned his partner, and the Eccentrics won the tournament and the Ohio Tag Team Championship. They would go on to beat the Pyro Twins at WrestlingRevolution on May 15 to become the first official FPPVW Tag Team Champions and putting scab referee David Caldwell out of commission.

The Eccentrics' glory would be short-lived as they dropped the titles back to the Pyro Twins in a rematch on July 6. They also lost a Handicap Match to Austin Lee, the new leader of the Heel Stable, at Breakout. The Eccentrics would continue the feud against the Heel Stable and would team with Aki Mann and Swinger to take them on in an eight-man tag at Bloodbath, which their team won after Nykk interfered. They would go on to compete in two battle royales to determined the top contenders for the RCW Television Championship, but neither man was able to make the cut. They were also set to compete in the Road to the Revolution Tournament in early 2005, but it was cut short when the promotion went dark. The roster would reunite one last time for WrestlingRevolution II on May 14, with the Eccentrics getting a tag team victory over Aki Mann and Joey Sprinklers.

Modern Establishment of Competitive Combat Arts (2005-2009)

International Invitational

With RCW's funds gone and the promotion caught up in a legal battle with its creditors, Nykk hastily put together a deal of his own. He started MECCA, which at first stood for the Midwestern Establishment of Competitive Combat Arts, in order to save the jobs of the workers and crew of RCW. The Eccentrics made their debut on the first episode of Go Time on January 4, 2005, appearing in the ring to celebrate the new promotion. They noticed Trent Acid sitting in the crowd, and Cheesecake challenged him to a match, which Acid won. After the match, he and Huh were attacked by Kaientai Deluxe and the returning David Caldwell, who was out for revenge from the previous year. Shortly thereafter, MECCA co-owner Katie Piehl announced a double elimination International Invitational Tournament to crown the first MECCA Tag Team Champions. The Eccentrics were supposed to face Kaientai in the first round at Bloody Valentine, the company's first pay-per-view. However, Men's Teioh could not make it due to travel problems and Huh lost a singles match to Dick Togo. Their first round match took place on the next Go Time, but the Eccentrics once again suffered defeat. Two weeks later, they lost their first round match of the lower bracket against Reckless Abandon, putting them out of the tournament.

Impressed with Spanky and Delirious, the Eccentrics convinced them to join forces and formed The Eccentric Alliance. On April 5, the Eccentrics cost KDX their lower bracket match in the International Invitational against Reckless Abandon, setting up a match between them at The MECCA Challenge, where Huh and Cheesecake finally got their big win. This was enough to put them into the number one contenders' slot for the first MECCA Tag Team Champions The UK Wrecking Crew. The two teams faced off the next month at Punked Out, but the Eccentrics were unable to win the titles.

A feud began with SELF when Cheesecake beat MECCA Champion CM Punk by count-out, prompting an attack from his men. The four Eccentric Alliance members met Punk, the Pyro Twins and Eddie Crowe at Liberty or Death in July. The Eccentrics won when it came down to Spanky and Cheesecake against Eddie, with Spanky picking up the victory. They also added two new members to their group at this time, a narcoleptic man named Dreamo and his manager Medea Knight. They received another shot at the tag belts against the UK Wrecking Crew on October 4, and won the titles after interference from the Pyro Twins. Their reign would once again be short-lived, however, as they dropped the titles back to the UKWC at Scared Stiff after Eddie Crowe interfered. They also feuded against Kevin Stone briefly, and caught the ire of Ronin Fox in December.

Fox recruited his brother Cynric in order to take on Huh and Cheesecake, and they went back and forth throughout early 2006. Fox and Cynric beat Huh and Cheesecake in a tag match at The MECCA Challenge II, and again in a Falls Count Anywhere Match on the next Go Time. Around this time, Cheesecake began branching out more and more into singles competition, and was often seen on the phone with an unknown person. After losing more tag matches, Cheesecake began to become frustrated, and eventually attacked Huh after losing a match for the Tag Team Championship. Not really sure why Cheesecake turned on him, Huh challenged him to a match at Summertime Showdown, which Cheesecake won after spraying disinfectant in Huh's eyes and pinning him.

Though Huh was blinded, he would continue to wrestle anyway. He returned a few weeks later, helping the David Caldwell Project's Stage One get a victory. Afterward, he claimed that David Caldwell had helped him see the light. His in-ring return on September 20 resulted in a win over former ally The Human Tornado, thanks to Caldwell. Huh continued to back up Caldwell as he attempted to transform MECCA into David Caldwell Sports Entertainment. He joined The CDT's feud against The Surgeons, and competed in a Handicap Match against them at Scared Stiff. Even though Huh was still blinded, Dreamo couldn't hear, and Concession Boy couldn't speak, they managed to get the victory with the use of a chair and Huh revealed his eyesight had recovered. Into early 2007, Huh continued to do Caldwell's bidding, and even managed to get a shot at the MECCA Championship, though he was unable to win it from Eddie Crowe. The feud between David Caldwell's sports entertainers and MECCA's wrestlers heated up over the next couple of months, and Huh participated in the Ultimate MECCA Challenge at The MECCA Challenge III, where he teamed with Concession Boy, Dreamo, Jamie Chan and Bryan Danielson against Nykk, Kevin Stone, Low Ki and Killer Kanines. Huh made it to the very end before being choked out by Stone, winning the match for MECCA. Afterward, Nykk put Caldwell out of commission for good with an Aurora Driver, ending the David Caldwell Project.

House of Lords

Later in the night, Nykk revealed an alliance with Lisa Letty and Ronin Fox, forming the House of Lords and taking back full control of the company. Angered over the loss of his meal ticket, Huh attacked Nykk backstage on May 16. He faced Nykk later in the night, but met with defeat at his hands. But Huh knew where the power now laid, and the next week asked Nykk if he could join the House of Lords. Nykk said he would consider it if Huh faced Kevin Stone in a Last Man Standing Match later on. He failed, much to the delight of Joey Sprinklers, his competition for main Nykk lackey. Nykk let Huh join anyway, and he spent most of his time bickering with Joey backstage. They were often forced to tag together against their will as screening opponents for the House of Lords' rivals. At Liberty or Death they teamed against Bryan Danielson and Kevin Stone as part of a tag team series, but lost the match. The House of Lords would eventually lose the series, allowing Katie Piehl to book their matches for Summertime Showdown. He teamed with Nykk, Joey and Cynric to face The UK Wrecking Crew in an eight-man tag, which they won.

Though the House of Lords controlled every title in MECCA throughout the summer, cracks started to appear when Ronin Fox lost the World Title to Bryan Danielson. Huh continued to serve as muscle for Nykk the best that he could, and as the MECCA loyalists started to gain more and more ground, a Best of Five series for control of the company was booked for End of the Line in December. Huh would team with Joey, Cynric, and Alan Mayse, but lose to The Lee Brothers, Matt Sydal and Delirious. The House of Lords would ultimately lose the series and control of the company. On the next Go Time, Nykk decided it was time to downsize and fired every member who lost their match at the pay-per-view, except for Fox and Shadow, who were still title holders.

On His Own

Huh accepted his dismissal, but one man who wouldn't let things go was Eddie Crowe, who had previously been injured by Huh and Joey. Eddie went after both of them with a vengeance, and wanted both of them in the ring. They met in a Handicap Match at Ignition, which Eddie won. After the match, Huh and Joey's alliance finally disintegrated, and they ended up knocking one another out. They met in a match at Melee two months later, which Huh won. Huh also competed in the first Battlebrawl match at The MECCA Challenge IV, but was eliminated.

For the first time, Huh found himself without a partner or stable, which had been all he knew throughout his career. He made an attempt to join the wrestling fraternity of Epsilon Epsilon Epsilon, though it was clear they didn't want him in their group. They decided they would destroy him, and instituted a Hell Month for him, saying if he did well enough they would let him in. They had Huh perform menial, disgusting tasks, like cleaning the locker room with a toothbrush, being walked to the ring on a leash like a dog, and being physically abused while carrying their bags. Huh drew the line at drinking a cup of raw sewage, and EEE beat him down, saying they were never going to let him in anyway. He was rescued by the Lee Brothers, whose respect he had earned for putting up with EEE's garbage. They faced Omar, Gary, and Cubby in a six-man tag at Liberty or Death, but lost the match. Huh continued the rivalry with a number of different partners, but finally got the ringleader Robbie in a singles match at Scared Stiff, which he won.

Huh continued the momentum by winning a battle royale at No Regrets, earning a future shot at the World Title. He would cash in his shot on Go Time's fourth anniversary show on January 7, but lose against World Champion Anubis. Around this time, Katie Piehl announced the Round Robin Faction War, where the winners would get guaranteed title shots. Huh quickly formed a faction with his old buddy Delirious and the tag team Bloodlust, dubbing them Nathan's Hot Dogs, but changing it to Huh's Hot Dogs so he wouldn't get sued. Huh and Delirious put their faction on the board on January 14, both of them winning an elimination tag team match against EEE and scoring two points for their side. However, their eight-man elimination tag against The Consulate ended in disaster, with the Consulate shutting out Huh's Hot Dogs. They wouldn't win any more matches in the tournament, and Huh's faction dissolved when he was attacked by Delirious after their last loss. But Huh also had some singles success, winning the Toughman Title from Jay Crowe at Bloody Valentine.

It was revealed that Bryan Danielson's pro-ROH rhetoric had gotten to Delirious, and they formed a partnership based on their employment in Ring of Honor to launch an invasion of MECCA. Huh would face Delirious and retain the Toughman Title against him at Melee, but was attacked by Delirious and Danielson after the match. Once he lost his Toughman Title to Dusty Schneble on the April 1 edition of Go Time, Huh turned his attention toward Danielson and Team ROH. He formed an alliance with Irish Airborne, who had been disrespected by Danielson as well, and they accepted a six-man tag against Danielson, Delirious, and a mystery partner at The MECCA Challenge V. Danielson recruited ROH star Roderick Strong for the match, and a wild brawl ensued. The match ended when Danielson placed Huh's head between two chairs, and Strong hit a running kick to the chairs, sandwiching Huh's head and injuring him, allowing Danielson to get the pin.

After the event, Huh announced his decision to retire as an active competitor. However, he still made one more appearance at Summertime Showdown as the MECCA vs. ROH feud came to a head. He showed up to counter the interference of ROH World Champion Austin Aries in the Perimeter of Pain, and also came out to celebrated with Team MECCA once they were victorious.

Huh came out of retirement for one night only for the Independence Challenge on the July 2, 2014, episode of Go Time. He faced Aaron Glover for the MECCA Legacy Championship, but was unsuccessful.
