Cheesecake and Coquette

In the summer of 2006, Cheesecake appeared to be growing disillusioned with his faction The Eccentric Alliance. Often, he would be caught chatting on his cellphone with an unknown contact. Eventually, Cheesecake would turn on his stablemates and grow even more flamboyant. At Summertime Showdown, Cheesecake arrived on the arm of an unknown woman, both dressing and behaving as fashion models. She also would spray Cheesecake with disinfectant whenever someone filthy, like the referee, would touch him. She later passed the spray bottle to Cheesecake, and he used it to blind his opponent Huh, leading to his victory. On the next episode of Go Time, she accompanied him to the ring once again, and Cheesecake identified her as Coquette. She once again assisted him in victory over another Eccentric Alliance member, Delirious. On September 13, she once again interfered in Cheesecake's match against Matt Sydal, and helped beat him down after the match, which caused Sydal's friend Daizee Haze to make the save. The two pairs would meet in a mixed tag match at At Your Own Risk, with Coquette getting the win by submitting the more experienced Haze. Coquette would continue to manage Cheesecake throughout the fall, but in January he would lose a Loser Leaves MECCA Match in January, leaving her on her own.

Ladies' Division Mainstay

Also that January, Coquette would enter the Women's World Cup, a double elimination tournament, representing her home country of France. She faced LuFisto in the first round, but went down in defeat. Her loss put her in the first round in the lower brackets, and she would compete in a Four Corners Match against Lisa Letty, Sumie Sakai, and Fabi Apache. Coquette would submit to Letty, putting her out of the tournament. Coquette continued to work her way up the rankings, eventually earning a shot at the MECCA Ladies' Championship. She received her title shot on the May 2 episode of Go Time, losing to champion Kelly Schweickart.

Coquette would eventually form an alliance with Magenta in a team that was implied to be more pleasure than business. In early 2008, the Ladies' Championship was vacated and it was decided that competitors in the ladies' division would be paired into random teams to compete in a Four Corners Match at The MECCA Challenge IV, with the winners going on to New Dawn to face one another for the vacant title. Coquette was paired with former champion Shadow, but they lost the Four Corners Match when Coquette tapped out to Lisa Letty. Coquette continued to compete in singles and team with Magenta for the rest of 2008, but in early 2009 she went down to a neck injury and was out for most of the year.

She returned on the November 6 episode of Rundown, losing a non-title match to Ladies' Champion Shadow. She made her return to Go Time the following week, losing Allison Danger. She shook Danger's hand after the match, turning over a new leaf. But it was Allison who was about to turn over a new leaf of her own. She acquired the services of Sassy Stephie and Zoe Alexander, forming The Triumvirate, who were more than willing to beat down anyone in their path. Coquette ran afoul of the trio on December 2, getting beat down backstage over a perceived lack of respect for Danger. She would team with her old rival Daizee Haze at End of the Line and defeat Stephie and Alexander. She and Daizee would then team with Naomi Leach the following month at Ignition to take on the entire Triumvirate, but would lose the match.

Darkness Falls

Coquette continued to compete throughout 2010, not seeing much success. In the summer, Jimmy Jacobs arrived in MECCA, bringing his unique brand of mind games with him. Seemingly lost to despair and hopelessness, he sought to assimilate MECCA into "The Darkness," and began to recruit followers. On the December 1 episode of Go Time, Coquette accompanied him and his Absence of Light to the ring. Gone were the bright colors and fashionable accessories, which she traded in for a much darker look. She would eventually be renamed Sombre, and continued competing in the ladies' division while managing members of the Absence of Light. She did everything she could to keep the MECCA World Championship on Jacobs, including interfering in the main event of The MECCA Challenge VII, where she was taken out early during Jacobs's title defense against Jamie Chan. Chan would go on to win the title, forcing the Absence of Light to rebuild. In the summer, they were challenged to a winner-take-all Perimeter of Pain Match at Summertime Showdown. If the Absence of Light won, the World Title would be returned to Jacobs. If they lost, Jacobs and his secret benefactor Katie Piehl would leave MECCA for good. Jamie Chan's team won the match, and Jacobs and Piehl were forced out of the company. The remaining members of the Absence of Light soon went their separate ways.

Sombre continued her career in the ladies' division, and in the spring of 2012, she beat the reigning Ladies' Champion, Sassy Stephie, in a non-title match due to interference of Stephie's rival Portia Perez. She receives a title shot against Stephie on the May 9 episode of Go Time, but came up short. In the latter half of 2013, she became offered her services to Ronin Fox, who was having his own struggles with the darkness. She started guiding him, and helped him win his feud against Drake Younger. In September, she introduced a new Ronin Fox, who had transformed into the persona of Fenris. It was a successful pairing, as Sombre managed Fenris to several shots at the MECCA World Championship, though Fenris was unable to win the belt. She also briefly managed Kory Chavis when he was hired to be Fenris's bodyguard, but Chavis had to bow out of the ring due to an injury. In mid-2014, Sombre quietly retired from the ring, though she continued to handle Fenris and manage his endeavors. On the October 22 episode of Go Time, she tried to interfere in a match between Fenris and Trent Baretta, and was accidentally sent through a table at ringside. This was her final appearance, as her contract expired and she left MECCA.
