"March 5th I will be winging my way to New Orleans to
UPDATE !!!
Dateline: March 10th ... Findlay, Ohio ...
My flight was 3 hours late taking off - mechanical problems.
Everyone here loves the car - should start charging for
take posession of my Dad's 1995 Oldsmobile Aurora.
It has a dark green exterior and a black leather interior.
The one in the photo below is very close to the right color.
Whenever I am behind the wheel of this gorgeous machine

I'm baaaaack home with the car! Boy is it ever a dream to
drive! I averaged 75mph and 25mpg on the trip home ... got
clocked on radar a couple times but not stopped (WHEW!).
I spent Monday getting the car lubed, washed, and waxed.
I headed back early Tuesday morning - skipped Mardi Gras.
It's good to be back home ... the weather was perfekt and
the drive back was uneventful - just the way I like it!
rides (lol). I'll give y'all an update once I get more
used to driving the car - but so far it's a 10! - PHILO
Bold and daring. It's been a long time since there was a car
with Aurora's panache and sense of freedom from traditional design.
The clean, muscular lines, the minimized chrome, the forceful front
end - all make the Aurora stand out even when standing still.

The frame and chassis are of exceptional strength, designed
to match that of much more expensive imported luxury sedans.
Crush resistance and rigidity are crucial, because the frame and
chassis influence the quality and quietness of an automobile's
ride and handling. Not to mention its safety.
The Aurora's unique Magnasteer (TM) steering system was designed
for precise control. It uses a combination of hydraulics and magnetics
to provide the driver with just the amount of power assist required,
no matter what the speed of the car. The rare combination of a
powerful V8, front wheel drive and traction control enhance the
stability of the Aurora in adverse driving conditions.
The interior of the Aurora is an upscale environment.
The driver and passengers are surrounded by tasteful design,
executed in high-quality materials. The leather seating areas
provide firm support, and the front bucket seats feature
power lumbar supports as well as recliners. In addition, the
driver's seat has a memory function that memorizes and
returns to the favorite positions of two drivers. The curved
instrument panel optimizes the driver's view of the instruments.
Genuine burl walnut trim enhances the feeling of quality throughout.
The Aurora competes on its own terms, making expensive
luxury imports look and feel dated. And it does it for
thousands less than comparable imports. No matter how
you look at it, the Aurora is a true American original.
