About six years ago, I started playing an interesting, challenging, and intellectually stimulating card
game called Magic:the Gathering. At first i was no good at it, but as time went
on, and I acquired better cards ... and more experience ... I gradually
improved. Now I win a lot. I just love the game !!!
In the fall of 1998, I played in a MAGIC:the Gathering PRO-TOUR Qualifier up in Toledo (yes ... Ohio ... lol). Of 48 participants, I was lucky enough (skillful enough ???) to come in 3rd Place !!! In the Quarter Finals. I promptly lost ... but it was a great competitive experience for me ... and one which I enjoyed immensely !!! |
