I'll start with what happened before the show. It started at 8, the gates opened at 6:30. Well, me, my little sister and my friend got up there at 12:30. I wanted to get a good parking spot, so I could get out early to get down to the after party. (which was about 20 minutes away from the concert) The concert was at Montage Mountain, and the parking sucks because there is only one way up and one way down. They run shuttle buses to different parking lots on the way up the mountian, but I was right at the top! Yeah, baby! I made a sign when we got there cause I was bored. (I'll have pictures up soon) The sign said.. I'm not joking either.. It said "Justin Sucks" There was pictures of JuJu's face all over it with red X's over them. I thought it was funny, but a five year old threatened to "punch me in my face." We put the sign on the windshield of the Jeep so every car that came up the mountain saw it.
The next exciting thing.. I loved this. You can look down this hill, over the fences.. to see the buses pull in. I saw JORDAN get off his bus! Then, another bus came.. (I got pictures of this) Guess who got off it! LANCE! I was SO happy! He is my absolute favorite. He was the only one on it though.. I don't know why.
And then, being that I am poor, LOL. Just kidding, but I needed the money. I saw a lady with a sign that said "Will trade tickets and pay top dollar for Row 1,2, or 3" So, I know ya'll are going to tell me I'm stupid. But, I sold her my 3rd Row seats for $200, and she gave me Row 15 seats. (They weren't that bad!)
Well, the gates opened late. Not 6:30, but they opened at 7:25! You aren't allowed to bring in cameras, but, I stuck mine down my pants and got it in! When we got to our seats, Sugar Hill Gang was on stage. They did a couple of songs I didn't know, and Rapper's Delight which was good.
There was a little intermission, then Jordan came out. OMG!! He looked TOO good. Seriously, that boy can Give It To Me anyday. I got a lot of pics of him, he put on a good show.
Finally, at 9:30, *NSYNC came out. They started the show with that movie thing, and dropped down from the top of the stage. They all looked great.
Some funny things that happened at the show:
In For The Girl Who Has Everything, they have about 10 girls up on stage, and during the song they sit and sing to the girls. lance and Chris's girls were kids, but Joey's were 2 of the sluttiest things I've ever seen in my life. Well, when they were singing to the girls, Joey "Mr Pimp" was like getting all into it. All the other guys got back up to start their "chair dancing" again, and Joey missed the cue! He was still on the stairs with those girls. It was hilarious.
Lance did his little speech before God Must Have Spent.. and mispronounced the city. It was Scranton and he said Straton or something. I was laughing.
When JuJu held his note at the end of GMHS, they brought a little girl on stage, and Chris told her to please ask Justin to finish the song, she looks at him.. rolled her eyes, and goes "C'mon already, finish the stupid song" All the guys started laughing, it was really funny.
Another thing I noticed, Lance's dancing has improved A LOT! He was thrusting just as good as the rest of them! I only saw him mess up once. All in all, they put on a great show. But, I left after GMHS, I missed I Want You Back, Giddy Up, and Tearing Up My Heart. I wanted to beat the trafiic.
You all might be surprised to hear this, cause you all know I never liked Chris, Joey, Or Justin. But, after last night, between the concert and the after party, I am really starting to love Chris and Joey. Justin, on the other hand, I can never like. I'm sorry.. but he just has this air about him and I just don't like it. Chris and Joey have moved up the ladder a lot though!
