MEMORIAL SERVICES FOR SGT. LAWERENCE DE DENT

A memorial high mass will be held Friday at 9 o'clock in St. John's church in Canton for Sgt. Lawrence DeDent, 25, who was killed May 17 while serving with the 37th Division on Luzon.

Employed by the Timken Roller Bearing Co., before entering service July 6, 1944, he had served overseas about six months with the 128 Infantry Regiment.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Olga Eleanor DeDent and daughter both of 921 Richards pl. N. W., Canton, his mother, Mrs. Mary DeDent of this village; a sister, Mrs. Irene Anderson and two brothers Sgt. Harry, recently returned from Europe and Joseph DeDent all of the village.
