Staff Sgt. John P. Elson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin P. Elson of this village was killed in a plane crash at Casper, Wyoming last Thursday evening, according to word received here Friday evening. The body will be returned to Waynesburg for services and is expected today. The hours of services cannot be given at this writing. He is survived by his widow Mrs. Margaret Elson; the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin P. Elson; one sister Mrs. Marie Miller; two brothers Revell and Edwin Jr. who is stationed in Vancouver Bks., Washington.
