Amanda Wilkinson is shopping at Wal-Mart in Great Falls, Montana. It's time to do a phone interview with Naomi Judd for her syndicated radio show, Heart To Heart With Naomi Judd. Amanda whips out her cell phone and makes the call-while she continues shopping. Onlookers gather 'round the teenage singer as the interivew unfolds. Naomi then asks Amanda for the chorus of "The Yodelin' Blues". Amanda belts it out, right there in the Wal-Mart isle. With the interivew over, several "audience members" ask Amanda where they can get that song. She's happy to direct them to the store's electronics department, where they can find that tune on The Wilkinsons "Nothing But Love" album. Story from Country Weekly.

There's An Artist In The Wilkinsons Family

When The Wilkinsons were trying to decide on a new design for their T-shirts and hats they sell on the road, they didn't have to search too far. Amanda loves to draw and doodle so she came up with a logo that fits the family perfectly. The design is a hand drawn caricature of Amanda, brother Tyler and father Steve with their hands in the air holding up a round circle with The Wilkinsons printed on it. The shirts with the new design have fast become a favorite with fans and even more so when they discover it is designed by Amanda. from country.com

Amanda got her first car! It's a black VW Beetle.

"I think at one point I wanted to be Dolly Parton," Amanda Wilkinson told CountryCool.com. "It's an honor to be here to recognize her talent." Steve Wilkinson adds, "It really is. Amanda used to sing 'Apple Jack,' 'Jolene,' 'Coat Of Many Colors' and 'Silver And Gold.'"

The Wilkinsons really know how to shop. They all love to browse at yard sales and once and a while will discover a real find. Last week they moved to a new house and while waiting for the moving truck to arrive Steve went down the road to a yard sale. He purchased four small antique bottles for a dollar and was happy with his find. He called Amanda and suggested she come on over to the yard sale. Browsing through the treasures Amanda saw two horse saddles and thought they would look good on the porch of their new rustic home. She asked the owner how much they were and he offered the horses to go with them. Now this was just too much - Amanda has always loved horses but never owned any of her own. So she walks away from the yard sale as owner of two horses and all their gear. The horses are named Cricket and Penelope. Story courtesy of wilkinsonsonline.com
