WCW Live--July 27, 2000

Kidman was on WCW Live tonight. I didn't get his every word, but I got most of it. Here's what he had to say:

Why did he move to Tampa-- I've always wanted to move to Florida. Sea World is one of his favorite places. "It's awesome, anyone is invited down here, it's a great time."

Who Lives By Him-- Chris Jericho, Brian Adams, and The Undertaker

Has the feud with Shane Douglas been harmful wo his relationship with Torrie-- has not beenharmful to him, but Shane does want to start pre-taping segements with Torrie.

What does Kidman think of Shane-- he's a big fan of his mic work, great with promos. Kidman has even asked Shane for input on his promos.

How does Kidman feel about his mic work-- "Drizzling Crap" is what Billy had to say, but went on to add that he feels more comfortable, and you just have to go out there and have fun with it.

What does he think of Lance Storm-- they have very good chemistry together. He feels that the Tag-team was a ridiclous angle since they had them turn on each other. He has been to Canada, it's a great country, but he wouldn't want to live there, he prefers the South where it's warm.

Caller #1: Gary-- Is there anyone you would like to work with---The Hardy Boys, Jeff

What is Kidman's take on the Nash/Goldberg angle-- Good, and bad. The good is that it draws interest. The bad is that 2 of the top guys are bearing at each other about who can kick each other's ass

Caller #2: Steve--Will Kidman ever do the Shooting Star Press again?? Kidman plans on doing it again at some point, but he wants to practice it, so he won't kill him with it.

Kidman goes on to explain how he started doing the Shooting Star Press. (This info in Kidman's Profile.)

Caller #3: True Gimmick from chatroom-- He starts off complimenting Billy about his skills, and say's he deserves a push.

Kidman is asked how many times he won the Crusier belt--twice

Which Division would Kidman like to be involved in--He wouldn't just want to work with cruiserweights, he would want to do both

Who are the top 3 workers in a match standpoint-- Rey Jr., Booker T, and Chris Kanyon

What was his worst match-- Evan Karagis, it just didn't gel!!

What was his bestmatch--Starcade "98", the triangle match with Juvi and Rey Jr.

Caller # 4: G.W. Lash (two questions)-- 1. When the Radicals left, did Kidman consider going to WWF?? It crossed his mind, but he was still under contract, and he wanted it on his own terms, without burning any bridges. (2.) Who is Kidman's favorite opponent?? Rey Jr., Juventud Guerra, and Lance Storm

Kidman's take on Disco Inferno--Least favorite opponent. Kidman blames Disco for the screw up of the Shooting Star Press in his first match on t.v. Disco was standing to close, and Kidman came back down on the ropes.

Caller #5: Mike--Mike compliments Kidman on his highflying. Ask Kidman how he felt about working with Hulk Hogan?? Working with Hogan worked out pretty good, but Hogan isn't too good with spots.

The biggest guy Kidman has wrestled--Hoga, Hall, and DDP

Caller #6: Deb--Why isn't Kidman with The Filthy Animals?? They all got hurt for one, and then Eddy left. But the time they reformed the group, Kidman was already doing his own thing.

How does Kidman feel about being on the road--He gets sick of the road. You don't get to see the cities. You can hit the bars, grab something to eat, and it's off to the next town. He doesn't get the itch to go back on the road. The most time he's had off was 2 weeks.

Kidman then mentioned that we would be attending Jericho's wedding this week-end.

Caller #7 asked if Hogan hit Kidman too hard with the belt at the PPV. Kidman said that everything was fine, and chops are going to hurt.

Kidman was asked if he liked the storylines, and he said he pretty much likes everything, especially Storm's stuff, Tank Abbott, and Mike Awesome.

If Kidman weren't wrestling he said *L* that he would probably be homeless, or working a night job, he hates mornings, no 9 to 5 jobs for him.

When asked does he owe anything to DDP, or Kanyon, he thanks them for allowing him to get his foot in the door at WCW.

Caller #8, Caesar congratulated Kidman on his matches, and asked him if he planned to further his studies in school. Kidman was quick to answer no. He was a good kid in shcool, but he dropped out. He did graduate however. The turning point for him was wrestling school.

If Kidman got any time off, he would spend it at home. He grew up watching WWF, and when he was asked about having Torrie on the road, he replied that since Torrie lives in L.A., and he's in Florida, being on the road is better!!

And that was the end of the interview
