All of the boats below are available for download as completed hull models. Transoms may or may not be attached and all are undecked. These boats may be used as props for scenery, bases from which you construct your own projects, or you can customize it and complete it as you see fit. All hulls are shown mapped in blue metal with two lights placed equidistant on each side to display the curves. Click on the thumbnails below to see a full sized image or click the text to download. Tyger - A double chined skiff with a slightly oversized beam. This hull will suit the role of a motor boat well or perhaps even a shrimpboat if scaled to size. |
Nymph - A small little pram roughly based on a Phil Bolger design by the same name. This would contribute well to a small New England scenery or perhaps can be elongated to make sailing scow of some sort. This is the design found in Matthew Sebring's modeling tutorial |
Flicka - My most ambitious project to date, I am I believe justly proud of this little lady. The hull shape doesn't duplicate the flicka exactly though it does more than approximate it. She would make a fine little base for all manner of traditional working class boats including English cutters, should the bow be made more plumb and the whole was to be narrowed, and schooners if lengthened. Like the Tyger, the Flicka can be downloaded in the user works section of www.hangsim.com/vs. Some of the details found on the finished boat can be downloaded from my new warehouse page. |
