A lonely but gifted college student, Fairchild was recruited as part of a government program secretly intended to develop super humans. Under the Gen-active project, Fairchild manifested her powers in the form of a well built, extremely strong, six-foot tall woman. However, fearful of the fate that stood before them, Fairchild helped free her fellow test subjects and led the way to freedom. Their escape route eventually led them to La Jolla, California. There the group, now known as Gen像, intends to develop their powers under their mentor, John Lynch. As the brightest and most initiative of the group, Fairchild has been deemed Gen像's unofficial leader.
POWERS / ABILITIES: Fairchild possesses super-human strength, allowing her to lift and hurl objects as large as a full sized train. Almost as impenetrable force with her great size, dense mass, speed, and agility, Fairchild makes a fearsome enemy. She is also extremely intelligent and quick on her toes in any situation.

Apache born, Sarah Rainmaker's powers first manifested while living on the San Carlos Reservation. She caught the attention of the Keepers who were ordered to capture the seedling and bring her back to I.O. for testing. But Sarah managed to elude her captors and fled into the desert. She remained in hiding for three days before Ripclaw, a fellow Apache, discovered her. Dispatched by Sarah's family to ensure her safety, Ripclaw was followed by the Keepers. StormWatch was also notified that a young girl in the desert manifested and saw to it that she would be safely returned to her family. With the help of Batallion, Ripclaw was able to defeat the Keepers. Their victory was bittersweet. Waiting for Sarah were I.O. officials who sought Sarah in the first place. Brought to The Genesis, Rainmaker met her future teammates, Caitlin, Bobby, Grunge, and Roxy. With the help of I.O. Director John Lynch, Rainmaker and the others managed to escape. Since then, Rainmaker and her teammates have successfully outmaneuvered Ivana and the rest of I.O. Sarah and the rest of the team are attending classes at The University of California, San Diego. There have been moments of friction as the rest of the team is still adjusting to Sarah's sexual lifestyle. Most affected is friend and teammate, Burnout, who has taken a strong interest in Sarah.
POWERS / ABILITIES: Rainmaker has the ability to control the natural elements. Her other abilities include flying, which she does so by manipulating air currents. She can also direct water with a gesture. The amplifier bands Rainmaker wears on her wrists increases the potency of her electric blasts. She has also displayed a proficiency in hand-to-hand combat and has the ability to deliver powerful surges of electricity.

The youngest and spunkiest of the Gen像 team, Roxy managed to escape Project Genesis with her teammates. Always looking for kicks, she was a merry prankster even before she went fugitive. This troublemaking spirit, however, hides a serious side. While every other member of the team has been able to discover something about their family, Roxy has failed to find even her step-mother. In the meantime, she's on the prowl for one person in particular: the man of her dreams and fellow Gen像-er Grunge! This means she's jealous of the statuesque Fairchild, whom Grunge often ogles. Although Freefall is known for her bad habits (including smoking, whining, not wanting to do dishes, jawbreaking diction, and an often intolerable attitude), these traits are what make her a special part of the team. In her free time, she pals around with her furry little pet, the dimension-hopping Qeelocke.
POWERS / ABILITIES: Probably the coolest powers a kid can be granted is the ability to fly! Well, not quite fly, but pretty close. Freefall can void the pull of gravity and levitate herself or any object she desires. Her powers prove quite useful when her teammates need to float out of a jam in a jiffy.
REAL NAME: Percival Edmund Chang

Team 7's Chang, fearing I.O.'s sinister plans, sent his son into hiding while he was still an infant. Raised in Seattle, Percival Edmund soon became known as "Grunge," an all-American slacker who knew little about his father. Invited to take part in I.O.'s Project Genesis program, Grunge soon found out he was in a prison-like breeding ground for Gen-Actives. Manifesting his powers, he escaped with his new teammates, the Gen像. Grunge is a skate/surf rat and enjoys spending his afternoon sleeping in. Although he lives in a beach house with three beautiful super women, only Freefall appreciates him for who he really is: a slovenly, cold pizza-eating party animal with a photographic memory.
POWERS / ABILITIES: A Gen-active, Grunge has the power to mimic the molecular structure of any material he touches. This means all or any part of is body can transform into stone, metal, or even gelatin. He has also demonstrated a limited ability to transform other people as well. He is naturally fit and has brown belts in Aikido, Kempo Karate, Jujitsu, Tae Kwan Do, and Kung Fu.

Under false pretenses, Bobby entered Project Genesis, a program designed to create a super team for I.O. Bobby and teammates Fairchild, Freefall, Grunge, and Rainmaker attempted to escape where his powers first manifested to save the team. The team decided to stay together and are currently residing with Lynch as their mentor in La Jolla, California. Bobby is currently attending the University of California, San Diego. During the Fire From Heaven conflict, Burnout learned that Lynch is his father. This discovery has made their current relationship awkward. Burnout has some strong feelings towards fellow teammate and friend Sarah Rainmaker which has gone largely unreciprocated.
POWERS/ABILITIES: Burnout was the nickname Bobby's high school peers pinned on him in reflection of his sullen personality. Ironically, Burnout can project coherent high energy plasma. The plasma bursts into flame when exposed to oxygen. In addition to being imperious to heat and able to fly by creating thermal updrafts, Burnout can form fiery plasma shields capable of melting bullets and deflecting energy blasts. He has such finite control that he can melt sand into detailed glass sculptures.
