David Mitchell

Sept. 2nd - Ohio State 43, Fresno State 10

In the season opener the defense was the star. They scored a school record 4 defensive touchdowns, turning what could have been a close game into a romp. Mitchell scored twice on a fumble recovery and an interception. Honors could also have gone out to Micheal Doss and Matt Wilhelm who also scored touchdowns.

Mitchell's stats: 5 tackles, 2 Touchdowns (fumble recovery for 34 yards, interception return for 51 yards.)
