In March of 1930, Clyde Barrow and 2 other convicts escaped from the McClennan County Jail in Waco, Texas. They made their way eastward until they reached Middletown, Ohio. After committing 2 burglaries, the fugitives left town in the predawn darkness. Relaxing after a week on the run without being caught, they a committed a terrible mistake . . .
