of Jorg Billman
Jorg Billman lived in Wertemberg,Germany and was my 8th great grandfather.
His great grandson, Hans David Billmann was the immigrant, probably through the port of Phildaelphia, as he settled in Northampton County, Pennsylvania. He had sons and grandchildren born there, then my ancestor, Johann Heinrich Billman came to central Ohio and settled in Perry Township, Coshocton County.
Billman does not seem to be a very common name, and have not discovered an unrelated Billman family, although I suppose they exist.
