Descendants of John George Flenner
John "George" Flenner (Flener in Pickaway County census)was born in Maryland in 1776, served in both the Army and the Navy, then came West to Pickaway County, Ohio, and from there, north to Hancock County, Ohio.
As he had a son called Levi I, I thought his grandson, Levi II (our ancestor)was son of Levi I. Took some convincing when we discovered Levi II's father was Daniel! Forgive me, Daniel is not my favorite.I wanted Levi I to be the father of Levi II,is that so unusual? Levi I was killed in the Civil War.
We don't know John George's parents. There is a John Flenner in the 1790 Maryland census, but that John apparently has a son John that is not our John George.
