As you can tell from my Formula, I love the BMR Suspension components- So of course that is what I have on my Trans-Am!The first mod I did was adding the BMR Shock Tower Brace, or STB for short. The STB really does improve the handling, and it helps keep the car "tighter" around the corners!
It is a piece of cake to install- easier than changing the oil! Just remove the two shock tower bolts on each side and set the STB down one side at a time. Add the washers, and screw on the bolts. That's pretty much it! The STB is $119.99 for the LS1 cars and $89.99 for the LT1 cars, and they are available in several different colors! My next suspension mod will be the Rear Lower Control Arms.
I finally got the LCA's installed. They were easy to do, and only took about an hour. The best part is they definitely improved my traction. I got to test them out at Tri-State, and there was a significant improvement. I was able to launch at 3000 rpm's with no wheel spin (actually I need to launch a little higher)! And I don't spin near as much when I hit 2nd gear. I will get pics up as soon as I can. I bought the LCA's thru Eastfork Performance, and got them for the GP price of $95.99 + shipping! So I got a great deal! Before LCA's:
