Copper is a odorless, orangish-pink metal. It is fairly soft as metal goes and is used for a variety of different things. I is a good conductor of electricity and also transfers heat easily. Other than it's physical uses it also can lessen arthritis pains. Because it is so soft many different things can be done to it's surface such as sandblasting, roll printing, abrasions, embosses, etchings, patinas, polishes, and hammered textures. There are examples of these in the main jewelry section. I will have sprayed the piece with a spray plastic to keep it from tarnishing from skin oil. If the plastic should wear off washing the metal with hand soap will restore it to normal. Copper can also be heat colored, when I get around to doing test samples of this I will display them.
