Gold is a odorless precious metal that is exremely soft in it's pure form. It is alloyed with other metals to get a harder material that is easier to work with. The amount of gold in a alloy is refered to as karat.the higher the kartat number the more gold that is in the piece. It is suggested that if you get a ring made from gold that you get a lower karat, otherwise it will scratch and wear away quicker. Karats available are 10, 14, 18, and 24. Most come in a dead soft form, which means it is as soft as the metal will ever be, but it will harden as it is worked. Due to the expense of the metal payment is needed in advance, and all sales are final. The gold is mostly available in golden color but may be gotten in 14k white. Gauges will vary from karat to karat, e-mail me if you have questions about the gold at Slvgriffon@aol.com
