Examples of full portraits..... 1-5 line drawings, 6-7 graphite shaded, 8 watercolor, 9 pen

1. This is full portrait style on 5.5 x 8.5 paper. It is just a line drawing in anime style, this size is too small to get realism to look right.

2. This full portrait is a little different since the head is viewed as a profile. It is also minimal as far as worn items go.

3. This portrait shows a front view, so it looks like he is looking directly at you. It also shows what it might look like if you were casting a spell. I did not have a certain spell in mind when I drew it but I guess it could be major shock. 9 x 12 paper size.

4. This was just a quick sketch of a front view portrait, the finished portrait would have legs.

5. Another front view done on larger paper, 11 x 14.

6. This picture started out the same as the pencil line drawings above, only I then shaded it with graphite. 5.5 x 8.5 paper.

7. Same as above, only the figure is sitting, with a slight turn to the head, called quarter turn I believe. 5.5 x 8.5 paper.

8. This is another profile view. Finished in watercolor, 9 x 12 paper size.

9. This one is different from the rest, it was done in blue pen, no helping pencil lines. I will not do these unless you really really really want me to! This one took me a few months of geometry class to finish. It is done on regular lined paper (D'ho!). I am not quite sure why yet, but the ink is starting to change color. It is either from the acid in the paper, or my fingerprints. This is also a monotone color picture, so if you don't really want black and white or something really colorful I suggest something like this.
