Each spring and each fall, our church puts on a four or five-week puppet show
for Junior Church. I've been involved in the last four of these productions. This
picture is from the spring of 2001, in which I portrayed the character of "Pappy
Crankcase," an elderly stock car mechanic who, with the help of his somewhat
dim-witted assistant Luggnut, tried to get the "Life" car back into the race.
