The Very First LCO #2430 online Census Newsletter!!! (*loud applause)
What better way for me to learn more about my home page building program and to also get the chance to talk about some of the people dearest to me?? Here, it is. The first of many (hopefully) online Census Newsletters.
It is already the 10th of the month and I had wanted to be finished with the October Newsletter by now. With every thing, it seems, there is always the trials of getting some thing to work just right...or hec, to work at all. Hopefully, I have gotten most of the glitches out and we can now move forth.
For the first issue of this Newsletter, I want to share with ya'll a bit of the occurrences that have been going around that I have heard about and to beg and plead (*getting on my hands and knees) to everyone to please send me things that are going on in your life so I can keep everyone informed of them.
In the upcoming issues, It is my plan to provide polls, links to favorite web sites, job information, pictures and some fun things.
Sorry, I can not provide food....Seems in this cyber world there are limits. Tis a shame, seeing how much us past-Census workers like to eat!!!
Census Picnic: The now annual LCO #2430 Census picnic went over with out a hitch this year...Even if it seemed we were lacking Supervision! (*some things never change teehee) The date for next years picnic was set...although, I can't remember it. I'll keep ya'll up to date, when it draws closer. It was nice seeing everyone and their families. If anyone has pictures of the picnic it would be great to include them in future issues of this newsletter. Please email me! (cybo@bright.net)
At the picnic, I learned there is a lot of people that still are not receiving their unemployment checks yet. Anything changed with that?? I would offer to loan ya'll some money...but ahhh well, I won't. (teehee)
Karen Johnson (OOS Recruiting) Starts at the GAP in the inventory control department next week. Congrats Karen!!
Holly Wagoner (AT) is still waiting to hear the news on an interview she had last week. She is still a Mary Kay Cosmetic Consultant. (I am having a Mary Kay party for her on October 24th if anyone is interested in attending)
Angie Warren (Payroll/Selecting Clerk...can't remember which) has had her daughter, Kiara, to a doctor in Dublin (referred by Children's Hospital) to run some tests. They are scheduling more blood/urine work Let's keep them both in our prayers!!
That would be all the news I have for right now....
In each newsletter, I am going to include a guest book. Please read the guest book entrees and write in it if you would like. It is not there just for my benefit. Feel free in signing the guest book with ideas, thoughts or comments to another Census Employee. (ahh, I guess that would be past-employee) The guest book will be the same from month to month...just transferred over to the new page.
I am going to close this page down now...or would that be open it??? At any rate, my work here is done. A lame first Newsletter, I know. I have big plans for the November Issue so I would like to get started on it. Please (please please) email me with information.
