BEN-JAMMIN

Be

A long long time ago, in a far off land, a little guy was brought into my world.  Through the years, he grew and grew right before my eyes...and a "Little Guy", he is no more.  I now have to look up to him...But I hope that he always is able to "look up to" me.

Benjamin...My kind hearted, optimistic little man...

Wow! What a journey it has been so far...

Entwined with Ben, marks everything that is a beginning.....He was the first to say Mama, the first to steal my heart, the first to make me smile and cry at the same time.....My first definition of proud would fall upon his name.  He is the first to say "You look beautiful" and the first to ask how my day was.  He listens with his heart and feels with his soul.  He is such a pleasure to have and a gift from God, he is.

We have embarked on the "teen years".    It is so hard for me to believe, that in my house lives a teenager...one that took his first steps directly into my arms. The same little fellow that brightened my world with just his smile.  Along with him growing taller, his mouth has also gotten a lot bigger.  I try to scare him with "I helped bring you into this world...I can help take you out of it"....but he doesn't flinch by that???  teehee

Here is the kiddo that has brought awe and endearment  into my very being.  The one that thinks of buying new shoes as a "relationship".  The one that still brightens my day with his smile.

Into my life you have brought...smiles, laughter, happiness and gray hairs!  When I see you on the baseball field or when I watch you from a distance, I can not believe that you are the same little boy that took his first steps into my arms.  You have grown so much.

Please never outgrow your Mama!

I love you Benjamidas.

When I see you smile, I see a ray of light...I see it shining right through the rain...Baby, when I see you smile at me.
