The summer is drawin' to a close and so is our time by the pond. We've been neglecting it so much lately that the weeds have overcome my flowers. The fish are still happy to see us though...We've done the majority of the work this year on trying different filtration systems. Our pond has stayed green most of the summer! We added 4 more KOI and wow! they grow so much faster then goldfish.

The weather is warming up and Jamie and I are both excited about spending time outside. The ice has all melted off of the pond and the fish are coming to the surface to enjoy the sunshine. I am doing research on spawning and eggs and having babies!! While Jamie is doing research on filters and pumps. The pond is yet again, going to go through a total revamping this year. Tis sad to say that we did not take any pictures last year...when the majority of the work was done. I will be sure to update this page often with our work.......For now, we can not wait until Spring finally hits full force and the flowers are peeking their heads up through the soil.
