November 2000
Here it is, the first of December and I have not finished this page yet. I think I have less time, while not working...then what I did when I was a part of the Census Crew. Has anyone begun their Christmas shopping yet?? I think, for a poll...that would be a good one...So here goes............
I have started a Census Chat Room....meaning that we can all go in one room and chat. No adding anyone to our lists or wondering who is on line on MSN messenger. I'll try it {below} to see who is interested...and then continue or discontinue it with the response.
Census Chat Room
This month's newsletter is a little late (ahhh..it is the November Newsletter in December!) and some what lacking on any real news. I have taken on the job of building a web page for my brother's Sunday School class and it has taken up a lot of my time. The good thing about that is I am learning all about neat little things that one can do with a homepage. So, next months issue of the NoNonCensus promises to be a lot more fun (I don't promise that it will be on time though!)
Updated News
Angie wrote at the beginning of the
month to say that "Kiara has had her Meckel Scan and Upper GI. Both
came back normal. They did some more stool tests and there's no blood.
GOOD NEWS! We still don't know exactly what was causing it, but it's gone
and I guess that's what matters. I went to the Dr about my migraines, he thinks
it's just stress, so he gave me more pain killers. Work is still going
pretty good. Mom has started her own business printing personalized books,
they're really neat. If I have your address, you may have received some
info about it. She does personalized Santa letters too"
Thanks for the Update Angie!!!
Cheryl Cox is now online! The amazing thing is that she doesn't have to call Holly every couple hours asking her password...Way to go Cheryl!!!
Linda Lovensheimer has new kittens...She tried blaming me....but I really had nothing to do with it. I do have one I would still like to get rid of....It is far past the 'kitten' stage now though.
I had lunch yesterday with Betty and Holly. It was nice seeing them again...Both of them look GREAT! We just didn't have enough time over lunch to catch up on everything. Holly loves her job and is just waiting to get past the 90 day probation period. Betty and I are trying to talk Holly into hiring us. I'm not thinking that it is working though.
Penny Sommers was nice enough to send me some pictures of the Census Picnic. I have included them in this months newsletter. Thanks so much Penny!!
That is all I have guys. I know it is not much. I really would like some input from ya'll telling me what you want to see in these Newsletters. By the way; the music in the background is the Dixie Chicks...tis a joke concerning Betty, Holly and Cheryl. The tune is "Earl's Gotta Die"
Anyone seen or heard from our LCOM, Pat Slagle??
Starting in January, I would like to feature one person or a group of people in each Newsletter. I know that we have all made lasting friendships through the Census Bureau....If you would like to share your feelings or tell about the friendships that were created from the Census job...please email me with the details, and I will be sure to include them. January is going to be the Friendship Newsletter...please send me your thoughts: cybo@bright.net
November to me, has always been the month of giving thanks. And this year, I would have to say, the thing I am most thankful for is the beautiful friendships that working at the Census Bureau allowed me to have. I love you guys!!!!

For some reason, I am having a hard time aligning
the pictures on this page, instead of spending more time fooling around with it,
I am going to leave it as it is. If you can not see them or if they are
all jumbled up, email me and I will work a bit more on them.
Until the next Newsletter...I hope ya'll have a wonderful December.......
