With my soul in the balance my accuser made his case,
It was clear I was guilty from the look on my face;
Assured of my sentence and resigned to my fate,
When the judge made it certain and I was led away.

I'd like to thank my two attorneys, Mercy and Grace,
For seeking my pardon that I could not afford to pay;
But every ounce of my praise is reserved for the one,
Who led me straight to the cross when my freedom was won.
