But whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubish, that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ - the righteousness that comes from God and is by faith. Where the water's cool flow bathes the weary one's feet, God leads His dear children along. Some thro' the waters, some thro' the flood, Some thro' the fire, but all thro' the blood. Some thro' great sorrow, but God gives a song In the night season and all the day long. Sometimes on the mount where the sun shines so bright, God leads His dear children along. Sometimes in the valley, in the darkest of night, God leads His dear children along. Some thro' the waters, some thro' the flood, Some thro' the fire, but all thro' the blood. Some thro' great sorrow, but God gives a song In the night season... In the night season and all the day long. |
