Jesus came to us a man his joy and peace held in his hand,
Breathing hope into our world to all who believe;
There were some who stood and cried, Let this man be crucified,
So he became the sacrifice and died for our sins.
He gave his life at Calvary shed his blood and died for me,
And now I can say I'm saved;
He paid the price for me that day all my sins were washed away,
And now thank God now I can say I'm saved.
When I first accepted you and you forgave me of my sins,
Oh the joy that flowed within when I first believed;
He replaced what I had lost with his life He paid the cost,
And rose above the grave to prove that new life could be found in him.

I'm saved, I'm covered by the blood my hope has been redeemed,
My soul was deep in sin but now I've been set free;
