Confused and so uncertain the disciples asked the Lord,
How do you plan to lead us when You're gone?
How will we know when You're speaking when You're a million miles away?
Then Jesus gently shared some words of hope.
He said, Listen with your heart and you will know who's speaking,
You're the sheep who know the Shepherd's voice;
You are my desire, I have so much to tell you,
You will hear if you listen with your heart.
Sometimes I face decisions don't know which way to go,
Then a voice inside attempts to lead the way;
Is this the voice of Jesus, how am I to know?
Then I recall His words of yesterday.
When He said, Listen with your heart and you will know who's speaking,
You're the sheep who know the Shepherd's voice;
You are my desire, I have so much to tell you,
You will hear if you listen...
