Many eons down in Egypt, depressed God's children so;
Held as slaves in bondage with no place to go.
Then Moses true and faithful followed God's command,
The waters then departed, they walked upon dry land.
Elijah knew Jehovah, his God had seen him through;
Saying to Baals prophets, "We'll see whose God is True!"
He said, "Erect an altar, pile the wood up high!"
The fire fell from heaven, God heard Elijah's cry.
Almighty God you're able to do this once again,
We need your hand upon us to guide and help our land;
We call to you in Jesus' name to fight and help us win,
You've done it Lord for others, please do it once again.
Once three Hebrew children to evil would not bow,
They knew that God of heaven would be with them somehow;
"Throw them in the furnace" was the kings desire,
They saw the Hebrews walking with a fourth man in the fire.
Little David went to battle, God told him what to do,
Obeying His commandment the giant David slew;
There's comfort friend in knowing when you are defied,
You'll always be the victor when God is on your side.
