SWEET GENTLE VOICE

There's a sweet gentle voice in my heart,
And it whispers sweet peace to my soul;
It gives me the answers to all of God's questions,
Sometimes the voice makes me whole.
It's a voice of my Savior and Lord,
It's a sweetest voice I've ever heard;
And I know that we'll never part,
It's a sweet gentle voice in my heart.
There are so many voices today,
That will lead you down life's troubled way;
It's a way of corruption that leads to destruction,
It's a broad road for which you must pay.
But that sweet gentle voice calls you in,
To that narrow straight pathway my friend;
And if you will enter this doorway a sinner,
Come to Jesus and be saved today.

It will whisper sweet peace to your soul;
It'll give you the answers to all of our questions,
And sometimes the voice makes you whole.
It's a voice of your Savior and Lord,
It's a sweetest voice you've ever heard;
And I know that you'll never part,

There's so many directions to go,
And so many wild oats you could sow;
But as sin in you rages, you must pay the wages,
Of Death and of Hell don't you know.
But that sweet gentle voice calls to you,
Telling you all the right things to do;
And if you'll surrender then Heaven you'll enter,
With Jesus for He loves you too.
