Rush's Pedigree
Rush at 2 years old in the middle of a snow storm.
March 26, 2007: Rush finishes up his PT title at the CCA nationals, winning the nice award I offered from his Great Grandfather Wolfie....He's such a wonderful boy and tried so hard on a some really wild sheep.
September 22,23,24 2006: Rush does a wonderful job of completing his HT
and picking up his first PT leg in the move up on Sunday.
He had some wonderful comments from the judges each day of his HT runs,
but actually had his best run probably on his PT run Sunday.
I won't be finishing Rush's PT title this year because
I want to do that at Next Year's CCA National show in honor of his great grandpa, Wolfie.
Rush has the potential of being a wonderful herding dog
so we'll take some time to work ahead for next year's trials to get some better scores.
August 2006: Rush picks up his first leg on his AHBA-JHD at Hado-bar.
It was pretty ugly, but hey we just started training a few weeks ago.
He'll be much better with a little more practice for the upcoming AKC shows.
What can I say, but sometimes you get the best combination of two lines.
Rush is the personality of both his great grandpa Wolfie and his father Everest.
He definately has very big paw prints to fill.
So what better of a name then a tag line
from a popular talk show host who likes to tell it like it is,
"Talent on Loan from GOD!"
Because this little guy definately shows talent
for those wonderful working qualities a collie should have,
and as we know all too well, it's only on loan for a short time.
We'll try to make the best of it.
Disclaimer: Yes, I do like to listen to Rush Limbaugh,
and this puppy was named after the host's tag line because
it is so fitting of the truth about the short time
we all have here to use our talents to the best of our abilities.
I hope no one at the EIB Network and the Limbaugh Institute object
to my use of a few things Rush related items,
but if so, just contact me and I'll remove them.
