Basic Tools Needed
Once you've started to build your plastic model kit, you'll need a flat area big enough to spread out the parts, good light and, if you're gluing or painting, proper ventilation. You'll also need these tools:
Nail clippers, a hobby knife and brushes for painting your
models. Buy a selection ranging from small (#0, 2/0, 4/0) to
medium (#1, 1/8 and 1/4 inches).
An airbrush to help with camouflage paint jobs and expanding your
color choices beyond what is offered in spray cans.
You will need tape, hobby clamps and tweezers as well as small
screwdrivers for some kits.
