BREEDS
Connemaras-This is a fast-moving pony native to Ireland. The modern connemaras have mixtures of Arabs and Welsh cobs, and Thoroughbred. It is a hardy pony that can survive harsh weather. Connemaras are superb jumpers.
Exmoors-Are possibly Britian's oldest breed, and live in southern England. They have thick manes and tails and make excellent children's ponies.
American Shetland-Most popular pony in North America. Its intelligent and good-looking. It stands up to 11.2hh
Australian Pony-resembles Welsh Mountain pony.It is compact, well built, and strong. It is considered to have the best temperament than any other British riding ponies.
Welsh Pony-Section B is elegant, and a quality pony. Excells in jumping and has a great riding temperament.
Welsh Mountain Pony-Section A is the smallest of the four kinds(Section A,B,C and Cob) Often reconized as the most beautiful pony breed. It's also hardy and sound.
Arabian-Beautiful horse, courageous, and fiery. Considered the fountainhead of all the world's breeds and considered the principal foundation for the TB.
Morgan-Hardy and has stamina. Stands between 14.2 and 15.2hh. Very well formed quarters. They are spirited and smart.
Haflinger-Used for riding, forestry work and to draw sleighs.Strong, hardy and long-lived. Developed in mountains.
Hackney-Has a naturally brilliant, high-stepping action in harness. Full of courage and has great stamina. It is an elegant pony.
Thoroughbred-fastest and most valuable of the world's horses and supports a big part in the racing industry. Great quality and near-perfet porportions. Great athletic ability and physical and mental stamina. They are courageous and often high-strung.
Quarter Horse-Most popular horse in the world-over 3 million are registered with AQHA. Recognized by the massive hind quarters. It is the fastest horse at the quarter mile, hence its name.
Appaloosa-It is a pleasure and stock horse. It is gaining popularity in the jumping ring and on the racing track. Its qualities are its endurance, stamina and pleasant temperament. The coat patterns are: marble, blanket, leopard, frost and snowflake.
