To
Maintain Friendship
3
lengths of white embroidery floss
3
lengths of embroidery floss in your friend's favorite color
3
lengths of embroidery floss in your favorite color
To
find the proper loss length, wrap the floss around your wrist twice, then
add and extra eight inches. Knot all nine lengths of floss together, leaving
a four inch tail. Using all three lengths of each color as one strand,
braid the lengths together, while you chant:
(your
name), (friends name),
and
Maiden One,
I
bind you now in joy and fun.
Braid
and chant until the piece is 7 1/2 inches long. Knot the ends and leave
a 4 inch tail. Tie the bracelet around your friend's wrist.
