Recent Days

The recent days have been hard on my heart;

On everydays up hill road, from you, I did part.

The times were hard and the days so long;

With romantic thoughts, of us, you kept my stride strong.

Sometimes graceful steps, sometimes frantic pacing;

With you deep in my heart...I over came all I was facing.

At times I feel alone...like a frown in a sea of smiling faces;

Then I close mine eyes and dream of us.. in far away places.

Others may pass me bye on the roads of life I walk through;

My love, realize, it means nothing for they all lead me back to you....

All the roads lead me back to you.......
