Here is a picture of what used to be a camper. The owners of this place stay almost every weekend. If you
notice to the left of the picture, you can see another camper laying on it's side.
Dominos. Two campers on their sides, but notice the porch furniture still sitting in their same spot. Also, the tarp that is covering the woodpile beside the camper was not blown off. There was nothing holding it down!
In the background is a camper laying over on a shed and a golf cart.
Nuff said.
Debris in a field where tent campers would have been against the tree line the following night.
Traveling down the road, you will notice a camper semi on the road. It doesn't belong there
of course. It belongs on the other side of the road beside the one laying on it's side. Both should have
about 40' frontage.
Here it is again from the opposite angle.
Yep! This used to be a camper! The one beside it was a little more fortunate. It was just thrown to it's
side and tossed into a tree. Fortunately, the tree gave way.
Here it is again at a different angle. Notice how the camper that was thrown is off of it's frame.
This is where the tornado first began touching down. This is my oldest brother Bobby's place. He looms
over top of me. It's about a 20 second walk to his place from ours.
I found this one to be the most interesting. Although you can't tell from the pictures, this camper had to have
levitated in the air, spun around (like a hotdog on a rotisarie) at least once and then set back down on the
ground about 20' from it's original spot. All sides were damaged, but it wasn't far enough away from it's porch
to have rolled on the ground.
