Hey ya'll. I got NSA! (Thanks Geneva!) So here is the long awaited (?) review. Just so things don't get confusing, here's the lowdown on how I organized this.
First of all I categorized them according to the dance songs (or fast songs, whatever), and ballads. Cuz honestly people, you can't judge those equally when they are all mixed together. So...I put the songs in order of the ones I liked best (best being first in each category) to least. NOT the order they appear on the album. K? Also, I wrote down my favorite lyrics to each of the songs. **Also, I'm EXCLUDING Bye Bye Bye from this!*** One other comment. I suck at critiquing their music. Mostly cuz that's the one thing (their albums) I TRY to stay away from when I'm poking fun at them. So let's get to it...

I REALLY like this song. I think it's cuz it's reminiscent of Bye Bye Bye and more like their old stuff (probably cuz it's written by Max Martin) than the other stuff on this album. In any case, it's really catchy...I love the part where JC stretches out the whyyyyyyyy. Very nice. I liked the "no man, no cry" in there too. As soon as I heard that I was like AGH it's like Bob Marley! (Ya know...no woman, no cry). Okay I'm nuts. Sorry.

Even though like EVERYONE else hates this song...I like it. It's crunk. JC is crunk. Left Eye is crunk. Space Cowboys are crunk. That's all.

JC gets major props for this song. It's cute, catchy...I can see it being the opener on tour. One thing bugs me and it's the beat right after they say "No Strings Attached" (it goes like dun dun dun)...mostly cuz I couldn't place it. But thanks to all of ya'll that emailed me (major props to you guys for knowing what it was from!)...I learned that it is from the AMA's when the puppets drop. Woohoo. :)

Likin this song too...the only thing that bugs me is the screaming thing at the end. WTF is that anyways? Ya know, when he says Messsssssssaaaaaaaaaaagee or Miiiiiissssssssssyyyy or whatever that is. Annoys the HELL out of me. Otherwise I have no complaints about this song.

I really laugh every time I hear this song to be honest. It's cool cuz of the synthesizing that they used. But my absolute favorite part to laugh at is...right after some lyrics (like the ones I listed above as my favorite)...there's a whip crack noise. ROTFL. It's just a funny song, but I really do like it. Go Cracknuts. Smoke some more of that stuff...let's see what else you can come up with. One thing I have to say is that the controversy over the risque lyrics is/was ridiculous. So yeah it's about cybersex...but as JUSTIN says, "It's rather safe sex if you ask me". Do us all a favor: tell that to Joey.

Aight. I like the rap in this. Although I thought the second part was JC for the longest time...did anyone else think that? In any case, for a second I thought that JC wrote this one too...cuz it says "ill tight sound". Remeniscent of his "dope illy fresh" thing. Lol. In any case, this song is okay...not one of my favorites, but I can tolerate it. It just gets really long...and repetitious.

This song isn't horrible. I just don't care for it as much as the others. Don't get me wrong. So far there isn't a song that I dislike enough to skip over it. (That comes later...*muah ha ha*) It's a good party anthem...kind of like 'Here We Go' cept they don't say N Sync every five seconds. However they've substituted their name with 'ya'll'...kinda makes you think Justin and Lance had something to do with this song. Am I right? Lol...ahh the southern bumpkins. Gotta love them. In any case it's a good party/dance song...that's about it.
Ballads

Love, love, LOVE this song! It makes me want to kiss the ground Richard Marx walks on. It makes me want to personally lick the sweat off of JC. (Although that would give me a severe crack high...who cares). I love JC's voice. I love the lyrics in this song. I want it played at my wedding. It's just gorgeous. Beautiful lyrics...JC's god-like voice. What else could you want? Well...besides Joey to be exterminated? Not much!

Like this song...mostly cuz it's acapella and it's kinda "old skool". (I have a video of them singing this back when Joey was skinny, JC's hair was skanky and gross, Chris was pre-dreds, Justin was pre-bleach (so was Lynn), and Lance was Ellen.) So it brings back good memories...ya know? Even though Joey scares me with his singing face, and Chris sounds interesting during certain parts. It's a good song. *Applause* Go boys go.

Agh, what is my deal? All my favorites are JC solos. Well, what can I say? Justin melts my butter, (okay that just sounds wrong), but JC has like THE most beautiful voice ever. I don't really like this song that much...it's alright. I usually skip over it...I think it just has to grow on me a little. One comment...WTF are those heartbeats doing at the end? Weirds me out.

Wanna know why I like those lyrics? Cuz it's the end of the song. WooHOO! I can't place the tune exactly, but it sounds like Justin sampled a lil. Ruben was right. Justin is the next Puffy. In any case, "TENNMAN" (wtf was that about anyways..more on that later) needs to just stop writing. I mean, he is alright at it...but JC is soooooo much better. It sounds similar to something Janet's done before. This song just sucks. SKIP! <--Jc was wrong! Lol.
