Winston Donahue came to the ring
for the "State of VCW address". He told the crowd that he was officially
reinstating the VCW Tag Team title, and that he searched high and low for the
most hardcore, insane, and SUICIDAL team that would be the SOLUTION to VCW's tag
title problem. Winston went on to discuss the ending of the Bain/Ric
Byrne title match from July. The commissioner stated that the double
team attack at the end of the match was unfair... since it meant Byrne lost by
disqualification and couldn't win the belt. Winston announced he was
making a "Last Man Standing" rematch for the title between Byrne and Bain later
in the night. This announcement brought out Super Hentai (who has been
upset that he wasn't able to challenge for the heavyweight title because he is a
light heavyweight) to the ring to let Donahue know he felt he should be getting
the shot at the title. Winston told Hentai that he was glad he came out,
because he had a special announcement that concerned Hentai and the light
heavyweight championship. Winston went on to declare the Light Heavyweight
title vacant, and Hentai would wrestle "Mad Man" Shirley Doe with the
winner being declared the first VCW American Strong Style champion.
1. El Timor defeated Chris King with a schoolboy roll up.
2. Vile defeated J.D. Escalade by pin fall
3. The Stro (formerly WCW's The Maestro) defeated "All American" Shawn
Parks and "Sterling" James Keenan in a Three Way Dance
Lots of good three way spots. The end came when the Stro hit Parks with the BDT
(A brutal bear hug into a DDT). After the match, SJK attacked Stro and left the
ring claiming he was VCW's only rock star.
4. Super Hentai defeated "Mad Man" Shirley Doe to become the first
VCW American Strong Style Champion
This was a solid back and forth match that saw both men almost get the win
numerous times. One point in the match saw Hentai hit a shining enzuguri
followed by three successive pin attempts only to have Doe reverse the fourth
attempt into a Burning Hammer head drop for a near fall. Hentai got the
win after wearing down the Mad Man with a combination of stiff strikes, high
impact moves, and submission holds.
5. Logan Caine and Mike West pinned The Juggolator and Flash Fury
Mike and Logan used good teamwork to ruin the debut of Juggolator and Fury. The
end of the match came when Logan hit Fury with the Air Raid Crash and Mike hit
the Swanton Bomb for the win. After the match, Vile, Winston Donahue, and
a returning Goth Brimstone hit the ring and demolished Caine and West.
Winston got on the mic and announced he had found his new champions. He
said they were hardcore, insane, suicidal, but most importantly they were EVIL.
He then introduced his new team, Resident Evil, and told Mike that
because he cheated to beat Billy Niles last month, Mike didn't really
win, and since Mike had put his hair on the line in that match, it was time to
collect. Winston then produced a pair of scissors and cut Mike's hair off
as Goth force Caine to watch.
6. Ric Byrne defeated The Stro for the VCW Championship
Ric Byrne came out first for the Last Man Standing match, but Bain never
came to the ring. The referee learned Bain had to pull out of the show due to an
injury, and was about to declare the match a no contest when Winston Donahue
came to the ring. Donahue said the match was a Last Man Standing match,
there was no backing out. He ordered the ref to start the 10 count, and then
awarded the belt to Byrne. As Ric was celebrating his "win", The Stro came
to ringside and challenged Byrne for the title. Byrne agreed and the match
was on. Stro dominated the match and Ric almost never got a chance to even
wear his new title. Right as Stro was going to hit the BDT, "Sterling"
James Keenan hit the ring and attacked Stro again. Byrne and SJK beat
down Stro and left ringside gloating.
7. "Snack Time" Curtis Taylor beat Winston Donahue to become the
new commissioner of VCW in a wild brawl.
Curtis had the match in control and beat Winston from pillar to post until
Resident Evil ran in and attacked Curtis. R.E. double choke slammed Curtis
onto a steel chair and continued to punish him until Mike West and Logan Caine
hit the ring to even the odds. Caine and West fought off Goth and Vile and
Curtis was able to regain control of the match. Just as "Snack Time" was about
to get the win, new VCW champion Ric Byrne attacked Curtis from behind. As
Resident Evil cut off Caine and West (and duct taped them to the ring ropes)
Byrne hit Taylor with three Burnouts on a steel chair. Winston got on the
mic and began to berate Curtis. Winston said he thought Curtis was going
to show him something tonight and asked him "What are you going to show me???"
When Donahue held the mic up to Curtis he replied "I'm going to show
you...PORNO!!!" It was true!! Porno the Clown had returned to VCW!!!
Porno began to make his way to the ring and took out both Vile and Goth with
stiff cane shots to the head. When PTC got into the ring, Byrne cut him
off and put the boots to him. Porno reversed an axe kick by Byrne, hit a
low blow and a cane shot. Winston tried to beg off from the leader of the
Clown pound and even offered to shake hands. PTC took the handshake, then
immediately gave Winston the bird and delivered the Acid Drop allowing Curtis to
get the pin.
After the match, Curtis got on the mic and thanked everyone who helped him and
believed in him. He then said that since he's the commissioner now, he was going
to make a few matches. Curtis said that because of the actions of Winston
Donahue, he was making a match between Winston and Mike West. At the next show,
Winston and Mike would compete in a Texas Bull rope match, and if Winston lost,
he could never wrestle in VCW again. Curtis then said that Ric Byrne would
defend his title next month against the man who is never without a smile...
