Libby had just stepped out of the shower when she heard the pounding at the front door.  She quickly grabbed her towel and wrapped it around her still dripping wet body before heading towards the front door.  She knew that if her boyfriend found out he’d be terribly upset with her.  Then again he was the only person that was supposed to be stopping by.

She checked the peephole only to find a delivery guy standing there.  She pulled the towel tighter around her and opened the door.  “Hello, I’m sorry it took so long, but I was in the shower.”  As if he couldn’t tell that by the way that I look, she thought

The guy’s eyes seemed to travel the length of her body, taking in everything.  The tendrils of blonde hair that had fallen out of the towel on her head down to her delicate neck to the ample chest holding the towel up then to the legs that seemed to stretch forever.  “ I need a signature before I can leave your package.”

Libby looked at the boxes behind him, she couldn’t remember ordering anything.  “I didn’t’ order anything.”

“I don’t know about that.  All I know is that I was paid to bring these to . . . um . . . Libby Myers at 543 West 12th Street.  Is that you?”  Libby nodded.  “Then sign here,” he said shoving a clipboard at her.

Libby did as told and watched as the man brought the boxes into her apartment.  “Thank you,” she said as he was leaving.  “Oh my god, let me get you a tip,” she added reaching for her purse.

“No need Ma’am, it’s been taken care of.”  He grinned and let himself out of the apartment.

“Who could all this be from?” she asked aloud.

As if answering her question, Justin came through the front door.  “Oh good, just in time.  I was hoping that it would all be here.”  He walked over to Libby and kissed her on the cheek.

“All what?” she asked.

“Oh it’s your surprise.  It’s great!”  He began to unpack the boxes.  “This will help us keep in touch while I’m off in Europe.”  The enthusiasm of the 19-year-old amazed Libby.

“Justin, slow down. What?”  She watched him unpack the monitor of her new computer.  “What’s wrong with the computer that I have?”

“This is top of the line, has all the toys you could ever want or need.”  Libby watched as he continued his task.  He’d taken his long sleeved shirt off and was working in just his tank tops and jeans.  She left the room long enough to throw on some clothes before starting her work for the day.

She sat down at her other computer and began the work that was already assigned to her.  Libby worked out of her house for the local hospital as a transcriptionist.  It was a perfect job.  She typed all day and stopped into the hospital once every other day to file the reports that she typed.  She especially liked the fact that she worked at her own pace and could do other things throughout the day if needed.

She was typing away an hour later when Justin finally finished his task.  He sneaked up behind her and began to kiss up and down her neck.

Libby continued to type wanting to see just how long it would take before Justin ripped her away from the computer, as if reading her mind Justin pulled the headset off her ears and picked her up.  Their mouths hungrily found each other.

Libby wrapped her legs around Justin’s waist and began trailing kisses down his neck as he carried her back to her room.  He gently placed her on the big canopy bed and began unbuttoning her blouse. With each button Justin placed light kisses on the skin revealed to him.  He paused briefly at the waistband of her jeans.  He kissed back up her stomach stopping only to unclasp her front fastening bra sliding it and her blouse off of her shoulders.  He took extra care in stimulating both of her perfect breast giving each equal attention with his mouth and tongue.  He kissed his way back down slowly, causing her to shudder.

He started to slowly unbutton her jeans and slid them and her panties down her hips.  Libby kicked them off and allowed Justin to push her shoulders down on the bed.  He started kissing from her toes of her left leg all the way up to the part of her that ached for him the most repeating the same torture with her right leg, never touching her where she really wanted to be touched.

It was driving her insane.  “Please,” Libby moaned, wanting him more than ever.  Justin pulled completely away from her and undressed.  Within seconds he had covered her body with his and was inside her.  They ravaged each other completely.

Afterward they dressed in complete silence.  Libby was the first to leave the bedroom and return to her workstation.  She didn’t want Justin to leave in less than twenty-four hours.  She’s heard all the stories about the guys while they were on tour.  And this tour bugged her even more because that little witch, Britney would be touring Europe with them.

As a rational adult she knew that she shouldn’t be jealous of her, but the rumors of Justin and her dating still bothered her.  Justin had explained in the beginning that nothing was happening between the two of them.  It didn’t help that he didn’t want to tell anyone that he was dating someone.  He wanted his privacy and insisted that the press need not know.  Libby understood that, but sometime it hurt to hear him say that he wasn’t dating anyone during an interview.

Libby was in the middle of checking her work when Justin finally emerged from the bedroom.  He kissed the top of her head, whispering, “I love you,” into her hair.  Libby began to cry.  “Oh Lib, don’t cry.  I don’t want to leave you either.”

“I know,” she managed to say during sobs.

Justin spun her chair around so that she was facing him.  He leaned down and kissed her.  “Libby, I’m going to miss you dearly.”  Looking over her shoulder he saw the computer that only hours ago he’d put together.  “Oh Lib, I forgot all about your surprise.”  He grabbed her hands and led her towards the new machine.  “Wait till you see what this can do.”  Again his childlike eagerness amazed her.  He played with a few of the buttons and soon their images were displayed on the screen.

“Um . . .Justin, what’s this all about?”  Libby knew enough about computers to get by.  The whole technology thing was fairly new to her.

Libby listened as Justin explained how it all worked and how they were going to be able to talk to each other using the camera to see each other and her extra phone line to talk to each other.  “There’s only a slight delay in the digital display.  The only other problem is the time difference, but I’m willing to miss some sleep to see you.”  He wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her near, before long they were lying on the floor wrapped in each other’s arms.

“Are you sure you can’t come with us?”  Justin flashed her his million-dollar smile.  “Chris is bringing Dani, and Lance is bringing Lara.  Come on it’ll be lots of fun.”  His childlike thoughts were amusing to her.

She ran her fingers through his mass of curls trying to remember just why she couldn’t.  “As much as I’d love to, you know I can’t get that much time off work and I can’t risk loosing my job.”  The adult in her took over again.

“I’ll take care of you.  You don’t need to work.”  Justin offered.

“Justin, I don’t want a man to take care of me.”

“Just offering again.”  Justin kissed her forehead and stood.  “Do you want to order in?” he asked while he dressed.

“Sure anything.”  Libby pulled the blanket she was laying on around her and sat down at her computer.  She’d not really worked all day and the jobs were piling up.  She stood and quickly retrieved her clothes.  “Hey Justin, I have to do some work, why don’t you come back in a couple of . .” she trailed off as she found him sound asleep in her bed.  She wanted nothing more than to crawl in beside him and snuggle up next to him.  She pulled the covers up around him, ran her fingers through his hair, and kissed his cheek before returning to work.

She typed for three hours before Justin woke up.  The evening seemed to fly by so quickly and before Libby knew it she was saying goodbye to Justin at her front door.  “Are you sure that I can’t go to the airport with you?”

“You know how crazy it is there.  I wouldn’t want you to get hurt,” he kissed her forehead as if trying to pacify a child.  “Besides, I hate airport goodbyes.”  He pulled her to him and kissed him passionately on the lips.  “Oh I’m going to miss you!”

They kissed again and this time it was Libby who pulled away.  “You’d better be going or management is going to send a search party out for you.

Justin glanced at his watch realizing just how late it had gotten.  He leaned over and gave Libby one more quick kiss before running towards his car.  “I love you,” he yelled over his shoulder.

Libby stood there with tears in her eyes.  I love you too, she thought. She watched as he pulled out of her driveway.  Would their life ever be normal?

Days went by before Libby even heard from Justin and then it was just a short email.  She sent a response and hoped that she’d hear back from him soon.

She did and they set up a meeting time on line to chat.  They continued that for the first couple months of the tour and everything was going well.

Weeks went by and Libby didn’t hear from him and the rumor had already begun to circulate in the US about Britney and Justin visiting all the romantic spots in Europe.  Libby tried over and over to leave messages with him.  At hotels.  At the venues.  On his pager.  With his band mates.  Everywhere.  It was a week and a half later when Justin finally called.

“Libby?”

“Yes,” she recognized his voice and answered very coldly.

“You have no idea what’s been going on over here.  It’s horrible.  We can’t go anywhere.  The fans keep mobbing us.  It’s even worse than at home.”  Justin went on and on about how they had to be under heavy security at all times and how they weren’t aloud to receive unauthorized phone calls.   “Lib, do you understand that I would have called if I could have.”

“I guess.”  She wanted to be a rational adult about the whole thing, but deep down inside she wanted to cry and throw a tantrum to show that she was upset with him.  She remembered the conversation they had about the computer before he left.  “Justin, can we still use the computer?”

“Yeah.”

“Good, cause I have a great surprise for you.  Are you alone right now?”

“No, Lance is here.”

“Get rid of him.  I’m not willing to share this with him or anyone else.”  Visions of “American Pie” ran through her head.  She was taking a great risk that Justin wouldn’t share this with his friends and that no one else would stumble onto it.

Justin came back to the phone a few minutes later, “He’s gone.”  When he looked at the computer screen he thought that he was dreaming.  Never in his wildest imagination had he dreamt that she would do something like this with the computer.  Standing a few feet away from the camera, Libby was clothed in a slinky black negligee that didn’t cover much of anything at all.  Justin moaned.

“I’ve missed you so much Justin and thought that I’d surprise you with this.”  She walked behind her and hit play on the stereo.  As the music began Libby began dancing seductively to the beat.  As her dance continues she lost the negligee to reveal the matching bra and panty set she wore underneath.  Again she heard Justin moan into the headpiece that she wore.  “Are you enjoying this?”  She asked.

“Uh huh.”  Justin said barely auditable.

She continued he striptease and just when she was about to ask him what he’d like to do to her the line went dead and the computer screen went blank.  “Justin . . . Justin,” she yelled into the mouthpiece.

She grabbed her clothes and put them back on.  The phone ran and she hurried to answer it.  “Hello?”

“Libby, I want you on the next flight to Italy.  I’ll make all the arrangements.  After tonight I can’t stand to be away from you for another month.”  Justin waited to hear what her argument would be, but there was none.

“I’m already packing.”

“Don’t bother brining too much clothes, you won’t need them if I can help it.”  Libby laughed.  “Oh but bring that outfit you had on today . . . that you will need.”
