Claudia, who's birth name was Eleanor, was the middle child of Simon and Jeanette Trudeau. Betrothed at 15 to Lord Stephan Grenwich, she ran away the night before their wedding, due to his abusive nature. Coming upon Ayenee, she used her powers to assume the form of a vampire.
Meeting Louis and Lestat, she quickly worked her way into their hearts and they accepted her as an older version of the daughter they had lost. Through these two she met Armand, who brought a warning of impending danger.
Armand and Claudia had a short affair, and knowing she couldn't keep up the facade of being a vampire, she dropped it. Going to Armand she claimed it had been taken from her by enchantment, and he embraced her. Armand was later forced to marry, and took Gabrielle as his wife. Gabrielle introduced Claudia to her brother Zakkery, and they were wed. They had a daugher, Tabitha, whom Claudia had adopted right before meeting Zakkery.
After many hardships Zakkery and Claudia divorced, and Zakkery has been seen only a handful of times since. Claudia adopted two other little girls after that, Lace and Claudia, and also a grandaughter, Rose, who was Lace's child. She had a short affair with Elijah Fairchild, which ended on a bad note the day after their wedding.
Claudia was engaged to Kayin, and stood to adopt his son from a previous marriage, Kye. Kayin and Claudia had their own child, a son conceived through magic, whom she named Christian. However, Kayin was killed shortly after Claudia, and Kye has disappeared.
Claudia was killed by an assassin after her entire family, and for six months her spirit remained trapped between the living and the dead. She was ressed into a mortal body, very closely matched to her own, and returned to fight for what was left of her family.
Now engaged to Lucifer, she is once more happy, even if the members of the family are dwindling, either killed off, or having disappeared. She has regained her immortality through magic, and has taken over as leader of the de Lioncourts due to the disappearance of her mother and father.
