The
Ferrari is somewhat of a story. It started life as a 1992 Nissan factory GTP car, modified by them to be a
WSC car. It's a NPTI P35
modified into a x-250 (their factory designation for the car). It was designed to
be powered by the naturally aspirated 12 cylinder engine. Nissan pulled the
plug on the project after they decided being involved in a WSC project wasn't
worth the money. Some of the team finished the car with a Ferrari 3.4
liter engine and ran it once at Sebring, running well until something broke in
the engine. It was retired from racing at that point.
