Kickboxing
Paul Fair's popular Kickboxing classes are the newest exercise trend to HIT Columbus! His full body-conditioning program is not like other aerobic dance classes that kick and punch the air or shadow-box. Although there is no personal physical contact during the workout, his program includes martial arts movements combined with boxing techniques. The full gear workout includes the use of professional boxing gloves, shin gurards, kick pads, hand pads, heavy bangs and boxing ring. participants learn kicking, jabbing, evasive movements, punching, coordination and motivational conditioning exercises. The workout is an excellent cardiovascular exercise whose drills and movements burn fat and offer the participants and ultimate fitness program. By learning the martial arts and boxing techniques, an individual will feel a boost in their self-confidence, an increase in their self-esteem and a reduction in stress. The class offers a non-intimidating adult co-ed environment and participants need no previous experience. Classes are adaptable to all fitness levels, ages, and individual backgrounds.
