Zachary "Zac" Nelson
Zac was born with HLHS in July 2000. He, like Brett, has had 2 of the 3 required surgeries done at Kosairs Children's Hosp.in Louisville, Kentucky by cardiothoracic surgeons Dr.Austin & Dr.Yeh. Brett & Zac also share the same cardiologists, Dr.Villafane & Dr.Arrillaga. We had the pleasure of meeting Zac & his family at the boys' cardiologist appt.in May 2001. Zac continues to thrive & bring much joy to his family & everyone around him.
Caleb Shawver
Caleb was born with HLHS in October 1993. Caleb has had all 3-staged surgeries completed at WVU in Morgantown, West Virginia by Dr. Robert Gustafson. He suffered a stroke right after his 3rd surgery but has now made a remarkable recovery! He completed the 1st grade in 2001 & loves dinosaurs & bugs. He is doing very well & is an amazing boy.
Evan Greco
Evan was born with HLHS in November 1994. Evan has had all 3-staged surgeries completed at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh,PA. by Dr.Ralph Siewers. He completed kindergarten in 2001 & continues to do wonderful. He currently plays on the local tee-ball team & also enjoys golfing & taking swimming & bowling lessons.
