Mindy is a gentle 13 year old who resides in a small Ohio town. From birth she has suffered from Cystic Fibrosis and has been on a transplant list for the last 2 1/2 agonizing years. With the precious gift of help and generosity from the whole community Mindy's dream became reality. On Sept 24, 2000 she received a double Lung Transplant at a Pittsburgh PA hospital. Due to a long recovery period she will remain in Pittsburgh away from her family and home for possibly months to come . Please take a moment to say a prayer for her and wish her all the happiness she deserves in her new found health. This book is full! No time frame has been set yet for her return home. I lost Mindy's picture when my drive crashed and I am still trying to get another one. As soon as I do I will post it on this page.
