This poem is for a friend of mine who lost his pet
I know how much he cared for him,
so I hope this gives him some sort of comfort

In Memeory Of Woofy

A Parting Prayer

Dear Lord, please open your gates
and call St. Francis
to come escort this beloved companion
across the Rainbow Bridge.

Assign him to a place of honor,
for he has been a faithful servant
and has always done his best to please me.

Bless the hands that send him to you,
for they are doing so in love and compassion,
freeing him from pain and suffering.

Grant me the strength not to dwell on my loss.
Help me remember the details of his life
with the love he has shown me.
And grant me the courage to honor him
by sharing those memories with others.

Let him remember me as well
and let him know that I will always love him.
And when it's my time to pass over into your paradise,
please allow him to accompany those
who will bring me home.

Thank you, Lord,
for the gift of his companionship
and for the time we've had together.

And thank you, Lord,
for granting me the strength
to give him to you now.
Amen.

In Memeory Of Hector

FOUR FEET IN HEAVEN
By Alice Chase

Your favorite chair is vacant now,
No eager purrs to greet me,
No softly padded paws to run,
Ecstatically to meet me.
No coaxing rubs, no plaintive cry,
Will say it's time for feeding.
I've put away your bowl and all
The things you won't be needing.
But I will miss you, little friend,
For I could never measure,
The happiness you brought to me,
the comfort and the pleasure.
And since God put you here to share
In earthly joy and sorrow.
I'm sure there'll be a place for you
In Heaven's bright tomorrow.

This is a formula I uses on baby
Kittens, squirrels, and rabbits
that has lost their mommy's and need a little help
for a start in this world of ours.
Before you use this make sure you check with your vet.

3-oz. condensed milk
3-oz. water
4-oz. plain yogart
3 lg. or 4 sm. egg yolks
